Vins Rouges
152 Château Plince, Pomerol “Offering up notes of sweet jammy cherries and strawberries mingled with cedary new oak, the 2022 Plince is medium to full-bodied, ripe and succulent, built around youthfully chewy tannins. As usual, this will be approachable on release.” 90 pts, William Kelley, Wine Advocate 328495 $80 153 Château Pontet-Canet, Pauillac “Dark and ripe on the nose, with deep blackcurrant, cocoa powder, and espresso notes alongside fragrant dried herbs, adding a savoury elegance. The palate is clean and crisp, offering a streamlined weight and a lovely bite to the tannins — powdery yet refined, with hints of milk chocolate and bitter orange. Restrained power meets finesse, with a touch of spice and soft warmth on the finish. Still youthful and compact, but incredibly detailed, with pure, bright fruit shining through. One of the finest Pontet-Canets in years - round, complete, and beautifully textured. Bright,
finessed, and highly accessible.” 97 pts, Georgina Hindle, Decanter 272936

154 Château Poujeaux, Moulis-en-Médoc
“More charming and less austere than during the en primeur tastings, the 2022 Poujeaux has turned out very well today. Revealing a complex, deep bouquet of dark berries, cassis, spices, licorice and pencil lead, it’s medium to full-bodied, concentrated and rich with a fleshy core of fruit wrapped in velvety, structured tannins, concluding with a precise, pure and dark berries-inflected finish. Matured for 18 months in a combination of new (30%) and used barrels, the oak is barely noticeable. This blend of 55% Cabernet Sauvignon, 42% Merlot and 3% Petit Verdot should age
gracefully over the next decade and more.” 93+ pts, Yohan Castaing, Wine Advocate 332927
